About the Role

As part of the IT team, you’ll support the development, stability, and continuous improvement of Fenwick’s cloud platforms and integrations. Reporting to the Dev Ops & Infrastructure Manager, you’ll play a key role in building and supporting CI/CD pipelines, automating processes, and maintaining reliable, secure services across the business. Working primarily with Microsoft Azure and Mule Soft technologies, you’ll help ensure our platforms remain scalable, resilient, and fit for the future.

You’ll work closely with internal teams including Business Applications, Security, Service Desk, and Retail Operations, alongside external support partners, to troubleshoot issues and support technical delivery. The role involves developing and supporting integrations between internal and third-party systems using APIs, webhooks, and middleware technologies, while also improving monitoring, alerting, and operational visibility through tools such as Azure Dev Ops, Datadog, Zabbix, Power Platform, and Pager Duty.

You’ll contribute to automation and infrastructure improvements, support secure engineering practices, and help maintain high levels of service availability across the IT estate.

We’re looking for someone with experience in a Dev Ops, infrastructure, or cloud engineering environment, with a strong understanding of CI/CD, monitoring, automation, and operational support. You’ll bring excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, the ability to manage competing priorities, and confidence communicating with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Experience with Azure services, Mule Soft, APIs, and integration technologies is highly desirable, alongside a proactive and collaborative approach to continuous improvement.

What

we are looking for in a candidate…
  • Experience working within a Dev Ops, infrastructure, or cloud engineering role
  • Good understanding of CI/CD, automation, monitoring, and operational support
  • Experience with Azure services including Azure Dev Ops, Logic Apps, and Function Apps
  • Experience supporting integrations using Mule Soft, APIs, or middleware technologies
  • Understanding of monitoring, logging, and alerting practices

    Familiarity with automation and infrastructure tooling
  • Understanding of secure engineering and operational best practices
  • Microsoft and/or Mule Soft certifications desirable
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and work under pressure
  • Good understanding of infrastructure, networking, and integrations
  • Strong organisation skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to communicate clearly with technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Proactive approach to ownership and continuous improvement
  • Collaborative approach to working with internal teams and partners
