Insightful Data Analyst: Dashboards, Kpis & Recommendations

About the Role

We are looking for an enthusiastic Junior Data Analyst to join a dynamic team in Jakarta, Indonesia. The position is a hybrid role, combining in‑office collaboration with flexible remote work. The analyst will support senior team members in collecting, cleaning, analyzing, and interpreting large data sets, and will help translate insights into actionable business decisions.

• Mine, collect, clean, and transform data from diverse sources such as company databases, Google Sheets, and SQL databases.
• Analyze large datasets to identify trends, patterns, anomalies, and root causes that influence product development, marketing, business strategy, and customer experience.
• Develop, maintain, and validate custom data models and algorithms, ensuring accuracy and performance.
• Build dashboards and reports (including KPI dashboards) with BI tools, and automate recurring reporting workflows.
• Coordinate with cross‑functional teams—product, marketing, sales, operations, QA—and respond to ad hoc data requests.
• Develop processes and tools for monitoring model performance and data accuracy, and support data quality assurance initiatives.
• Document data sources, methodologies, and findings, and maintain data governance standards.
• Present findings and actionable recommendations to business leaders and non‑technical stakeholders.
• Assist mentors and senior analysts in training, project scoping, and business problem solving.

• 2–3 years of experience manipulating data sets and building statistical models.
• Proficiency in Python (at least 2 years of experience). Familiarity with R, SQL, or other statistical languages is a plus.
• Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, or a related quantitative field; a Master’s degree is preferred.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with a focus on product development.
• Experience with data architecture, big data, and machine learning techniques (e.g., clustering, decision trees, neural networks).
• Deep knowledge of advanced statistical methods and their real‑world applications.
• Adaptability to dynamic work environments and excellent communication skills.
• Demonstrated drive to learn new technologies, tools, and analytical methods.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to data accuracy.
• Experience working with large datasets and developing dashboards or reports for business stakeholders.

• Recent graduate or candidate with a Bachelor’s/Master’s degree and immediate availability for entry‑level or apprenticeship opportunities.
• Experience with Excel (advanced functions, pivot tables), SQL, Python (Pandas, Num Py), or R.
• Familiarity with BI tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar data visualization platforms.
• Prior exposure to customer experience analytics, quality‑assurance metrics, or operational data analysis.
• Knowledge of gaming trends or fintech regulatory requirements.
• Ability to present insights clearly to non‑technical audiences and collaborate in a remote or hybrid setting.
