Lead five to six engineers in the B2C group, working alongside the Leads for Club, Mobile, Lending and the customer experience. Ship a new payment product to twelve million customers across Italy, France and Spain. Architect a greenfield charge card from scratch: onboarding, transactions, customer controls, wallet integration. Build on a modern stack with AI tooling in the daily workflow:
Node.js, Postgre

SQL, Redis, AWS, microservices and event streaming, plus Claude Code and other AI-assisted development tools.
Work fully remote within Italy, Spain or France. In seven years, the company has become Southern Europe's BNPL leader and raised a $500 million Series B that still stands as the largest in Italian tech history.

Today the platform powers checkout for retailers and travel brands including Mango, Nike, Booking and Last minute. The company is now strengthening its engineering leadership ahead of a significant expansion of the consumer product suite, with new partnerships shipping alongside Visa and a major European bank.

The biggest new product is a charge card customers can use in shops, online and through their mobile wallet.

The card has to be correct every time it is used. Technical direction of the Card product: architecture, interfaces, partner integrations, data model.
Card platform features end-to-end: onboarding, transaction processing, customer controls, spending limits, wallet integration.
RESTful APIs integrating card-issuing partners, payment networks (Visa, Mastercard), and the firm's core platform.
Security, fraud prevention and PCI-DSS compliance for everything that touches card data.
Working alongside Product, Risk, Payments and Infrastructure when the architectural decisions get made.
