Job Description & Summary
We are looking for a Service Now Developer with the ambition to grow within his/her expertise. You will be part of the Core Applications team within the Dutch IT organization of PwC. Within this team you will be co‑responsible for a set of applications that are used across the whole Dutch PwC organization.
Core application areas include Human Capital, Clients & Markets, Facility Management, Compliance, Finance and Procurement. Your location is mainly Utrecht.
ResponsibilitiesOn a daily basis, you will be responsible for the management and development of Service Now. This entails being the second line of contact for requests and incidents, release management, and the monitoring of interfaces. You’ll assist in the integration of new functionalities and applications in our IT landscape, research optimisation of work processes, and serve as a point of contact for colleagues from other departments within PwC.
You will act as a linking pin between stakeholders and processes.
- Experience developing, implementing, and troubleshooting on the Service Now platform.
- Knowledge of applications/services such as Service Now ITSM, ITBM, HRSD, Virtual Agent, Service Portal, and custom apps.
- HBO (Vocational) working and thinking level.
- Analytical and service‑oriented, able to translate business questions into functional and/or technical solutions.
- Knowledge of JavaScript, REST APIs, IT Service Management, HTML, CSS, XML, JSON, and Microsoft Azure.
- Proactive mindset, able to identify opportunities for new developments and improvements.
- Strong communication skills, able to advise on release management, governance, and escalation.
- Team player who can also work independently.
- Fluent in Dutch and English.
- Understanding of integrating with other applications/services using APIs, such as Mark Logic.
- Certified Service Now Administrator (CSA).
- Knowledge of GDPR and Data Security standards.
