• Set and drive the strategy for Infrastructure Security across cloud, identity, and AI systems.
• Define clear goals and metrics so we can track progress and make better decisions.
• Improve and scale key areas such as cloud security, access management, and container security.
• Build and support a strong team, helping engineers grow and do their best work.
• Work closely with engineering teams to make security part of how systems are built from the start.
• Help define how we secure AI and automated systems, including how they access resources, how policies are enforced, and how risk is managed.
• Ensure security keeps up with company growth without slowing teams down.
• Partner across Security Operations to keep our work aligned and effective.

• 10+ years in security engineering with at least 5 years leading teams. Experience owning meaningful programs and helping teams grow.
• Strong understanding of AWS, Kubernetes, and modern cloud environments, including infrastructure‑level security controls.
• Experience building or improving privileged access programs and managing both people and system access.
• Experience with network segmentation, WAF, and zero‑trust approaches at scale.
• Awareness of AI security and comfort working as the technology evolves.
• Strong technical judgment to review work, spot gaps, and raise quality.
• People leadership and collaboration experience, with a proven ability to build strong teams and support growth.

This is a remote position that can be based in Canada or the United States.

USA‑based roles: annual base salary between $246,000 USD and $369,000 USD. Canada‑based roles: annual base salary between $228,000 CAD and $342,000 CAD. Compensation also includes benefits, paid time off, equity, and incentive programs.
