In this challenging position as Forward Deployed Engineer, you will represent the Audit & Assurance Technology in a multidisciplinary team within Audit Corporates. You will be responsible for engineering innovative products leveraging cloud technologies and process automation, serving as the technical interface on the front lines and deploying our solutions to solve complex problems for internal clients. You are part software engineer, part business analyst, part strategist, and part technical consultant.
Yourcontribution to KPMG
- Lead self‑driven engineering efforts using lean, agile, and Dev Ops principles to deliver innovative technology solutions for the Audit business in close collaboration with stakeholders.
- Design custom technical solutions built on top of core products, in strong alignment with our Solution Architect.
- Translate business requirements into proof‑of‑concepts and scalable implementations.
- Drive engineering and project activities as well as implementation and delivery of complex business and IT transformation using patterns and technology solutions.
- Support the continual improvement of technology value streams, with the goal of being viewed as partner of choice by supported businesses.
- Ensure software quality and stay informed about emerging technologies.
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science or a related field.
- Proficiency in modern Dev Ops‑oriented software delivery approaches and tools; knowledge of Azure Dev Ops for agile delivery and engineering management is a plus.
- Experience analysing and understanding operational business processes (preferably in Financial Services, consulting, or Audit environments).
- Experience in cloud technology ecosystems, preferably Microsoft Azure (certificates are a plus).
- Proficiency in software programming languages – at least one of C#, Python, Power Shell, or similar.
- Experience with projects involving Power Platform, Power
BI, and/or Service Now. - Knowledge of enterprise security protocols and data privacy standards.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to translate technology solutions into business terms.
