As an intern, you will join one of our engineering teams and take on a meaningful assignment from one of our departments. You will work closely with experienced technology experts who are not only leaders in their fields but also supportive mentors. This gives you the chance to gain hands-on experience, sharpen your skills, and contribute to projects that make a real impact.

• You will be based at our Rotterdam office, conveniently located near public transport.
• You can manage your start and end of the working day and be flexible to combine work with your private life. If you would like or sometimes need to, working from home is an option.
• Based on a full time internship, you will receive 799 euro (gross monthly allowance).
• Your commute is reimbursed.
• You can participate in our Internal Kubernetes Academy, where you learn all about Cloud Native solutions and how to implement them. This is a valuable addition to your regular academic curriculum, which will contribute to your professional career.

Since our establishment in 1981, we have put innovation through applied scientific research and IT developments as a priority. Our research and innovation activities are concentrated in the Ortec Finance R&D Labs department. We work and experiment with both new modelling approaches and IT techniques and concepts in order to research their applicability to investment decision-making. R&D Labs aims to be the linking pin between colleagues and clients of Ortec Finance and the scientific research community.

It performs innovative, high-quality research with a strong practical focus. We collaborate with students, academics, and external parties to design the future of investment decision-making.

• You’re a motivated fourth-year HBO student in IT, (Applied) Data Science, or a related field, ready to take on a graduation internship.
