Junior IT Technical Support Assistant Introduction

Being specialized in alcoholic beverages, we offer a full range of transportation services and options, from full container loads to group shipments, from large volumes of bulk wine to small consignments via airfreight. Our logistics services allow our customers to transport exactly what they want, when they want, in a cost-effective way.

For our IT team in the Haarlem area, we are looking for a Junior IT Technical Support Assistant.

In this role, you will provide first‑line (and basic second‑line) technical support to end users and assist with the setup, configuration, and shipping of IT equipment.

This position is ideal for someone with a broad interest in IT, basic networking knowledge, and a strong service‑oriented mindset.

What will you do?
  • Provide 1st line technical support to end users (hardware, software, and basic network issues)
  • Support users both on site and remotely
  • Proactively identify recurring issues and suggest improvements
  • Assist with 2nd line support on basic technical matters
  • Install, configure, and prepare laptops, PCs, printers, scanners and other peripherals.
  • Perform basic network troubleshooting (IP configuration, DNS, DHCP)
  • Prepare, package, and ship IT equipment
  • Register, track, and follow up support tickets
What do we expect from you?
  • Approximately 1 year of experience in IT support or a similar role
  • Good knowledge of Windows operating systems
  • Experience with installing and maintaining printers and scanners
  • Basic networking knowledge: IP addressing, DNS and DHCP
  • Experience with laptop and desktop configuration
  • Analytical and problem‑solving skills
  • Strong communication skills and a people‑oriented mindset
Language skills

Dutch and English: good reading, writing, and speaking skills

Able to communicate clearly and professionally with end users in both languages
