Senior Delivery Lead to drive execution -scale Data & AI modernization program - Fully Remote

Our client is a large national beverage distributor currently mid-transformation on a significant Data & AI modernization initiative. The VP of Data & AI is overseeing multiple concurrent programs and needs a senior delivery professional to come in and own execution. This is a high-visibility role with real ownership from day one. The successful candidate will be embedded directly alongside the VP, coordinating delivery across internal teams and a external vendor Partners.

You will be the client-side execution lead across the following active workstreams:

Snowflake Data Platform build (the largest and most critical initiative currently underway)

•
Data governance program delivery

•
Data management automation
, including streamlining and automating key operational data processes

•
AI use case delivery
, coordinating execution of early-stage AI initiatives across the organization

•
Enterprise vendor management
, serving as the primary client-side coordinator for an ongoing Data & AI modernization engagement with a major external vendor

Key Responsibilities:

• Own end-to-end delivery coordination across multiple concurrent Data & AI workstreams

• Serve as the VP's primary execution partner, tracking deliverables, removing blockers, and maintaining program momentum

• Manage the relationship with a large external vendor, ensuring accountability and alignment on the client side

• Track program financials, budgets, and resourcing; surface risks and flag variances proactively

• Build and maintain reporting cadences and delivery governance where gaps currently exist

• Prepare and present structured updates to the VP and senior leadership

• Align cross-functional teams including data engineering, platform, and AI

Must-Have Requirements:

• Senior experience as a Delivery Lead or Sr. Program Manager with a track record of owning complex programs end-to-end (this is not a traditional PM or project coordinator role)

• Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent enterprise programs with cross-functional stakeholders

• Strong working knowledge of Data and AI environments
, with the ability to operate credibly alongside technical teams

• Familiarity with data platform delivery such as Snowflake implementations, cloud data migrations, or data governance programs

• Experience managing or coordinating with large external vendors or system integrators

• Financially literate, with the ability to track budgets and manage vendor costs

• Excellent communicator, comfortable preparing and presenting to VP and C-suite level stakeholders

• Comfortable operating in environments where structure and process are still being built

• Available to work EST hours, based anywhere in Canada
