About the jobWe are looking for a talented and experienced Kubernetes Administrator to join our dynamic Managed Services team. As a Kubernetes Admin, you will be responsible for administering, configuring, and supporting the Kubernetes-based infrastructures we host.

What you will be doing- Monitor Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) or Azure Red Hat Open Shift
- Manage and maintain Kubernetes environments
- Automate pipelines and deployments using Git Ops
- Provide 2nd/3rd level support within the Managed Services team, responding to and resolving incidents related to Kubernetes infrastructure
- Provide mentorship and training to team members on Kubernetes best practices
Implement effective troubleshooting strategies and support issue resolution - Maintain and update documentation
Required skills:
- Linux, scripting (Shell, Bash), YAML
- Experience with container technologies and Kubernetes
- Knowledge of virtual environments and cloud PaaS/SaaS environments
- Understanding of secure-by-design concepts
Preferred skills:
- Familiarity with Azure/AWS
- Knowledge of Elasticsearch and Kibana
- Knowledge of Prometheus and Grafana
- Knowledge of Jaeger
- Understanding of ArgoCD and Git Ops concepts
- Knowledge of message queue technologies
- Knowledge of Istio and Kiali
- Familiarity with Azure Dev Ops
- Image build knowledge
- Basic understanding of microservices architectures
- Experience contributing to open-source projects
