BI ETL Databricks We're currently supporting a growing technology business that is looking to engage an experienced Data Analyst on a fully remote contract basis. This role will suit someone who is highly analytical, commercially minded, and comfortable working with large datasets to deliver meaningful insights that support business decision-making. You'll work closely with stakeholders across the business, helping transform complex data into clear, actionable reporting and visualisations.

Key Responsibilities Analyse large and complex datasets to identify trends, patterns, and business insights Develop and maintain dashboards and reporting solutions using Power BI and Tableau Write complex SQL queries to extract, manipulate, and analyse data Support data integration and migration activities Work with ETL processes to ensure accurate and reliable data flows Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand reporting requirements and deliver data-driven solutions Present findings and recommendations to both technical and non-technical audiences Required Skills & Experience Strong commercial experience as a Data Analyst Advanced SQL skills, with the ability to query and manipulate large datasets Strong experience with Power BI and/or Tableau Good understanding of ETL processes and data pipelines Experience working with Databricks from an analytical perspective (querying, analysing and consuming data rather than building engineering solutions) Strong stakeholder management and communication skills Experience working within Agile delivery environments

Desirable Experience supporting data migration or integration projects Background within SaaS, technology, telecommunications, or data-driven organisations Exposure to cloud-based data platforms
