Equinox is seeking an Infrastructure & Dev Ops Specialist who brings strong technical expertise, ownership mindset, and a passion for building secure, scalable infrastructure in a global environment.

In this role, you will design, manage, and optimize the systems that underpin our multi-office operations – ensuring performance, reliability, and security across on-premises and cloud environments.

As an Infrastructure & Dev Ops Specialist, you will play a key role in delivering secure, scalable, and cost-effective infrastructure with a focus on:

• Ensuring reliable and secure connectivity across global offices
• Building scalable cloud environments aligned with business growth
• Maintaining robust disaster recovery and business continuity systems
• Driving automation and operational efficiency
• Supporting development teams with modern Dev Ops practices

Technical Leadership

• Design and manage cloud and hybrid infrastructure across Azure and AWS environments
• Own infrastructure architecture decisions, ensuring scalability, security, and efficiency
• Implement infrastructure-as-code (Terraform/Open Tofu) for repeatable, consistent deployments
• Provide guidance and technical direction on infrastructure best practices

Network & Infrastructure Management

• Manage network security using Palo Alto firewalls and Cloudflare services
• Maintain secure connectivity across distributed offices and remote work environments
• Oversee on-prem infrastructure including virtualization, storage, and backup systems
• Ensure data integrity and replication across international locations

Cloud, Dev Ops & Automation

• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate build, test, and deployment workflows
• Support containerized environments (Docker, Kubernetes, Container Apps, ECS)
• Develop automation solutions using scripting tools (Python, Bash, Power Shell)
• Collaborate with development teams to improve deployment and reliability practices

Disaster Recovery & Reliability

• Maintain and continuously improve disaster recovery strategies and runbooks
• Implement backup, failover, and recovery solutions across cloud and on-prem systems
• Conduct regular testing and validation of recovery processes
• Troubleshoot production issues and drive root cause resolution

Security, Compliance & Cost Optimization

• Enforce cloud governance best practices including cost management and tagging strategies
• Implement identity and access management using role-based controls and least privilege principles
• Integrate security practices into deployment pipelines and infrastructure design
• Monitor and optimize cloud spend and infrastructure utilization

Collaboration & Continuous Improvement

• Partner with IT leadership, engineering teams, and business stakeholders
• Support migration of legacy systems to modern cloud-based solutions
• Mentor internal teams on Dev Ops, security, and infrastructure best practices
• Contribute to a culture of ownership, accountability, and continuous improvement

You are a hands-on infrastructure and Dev Ops professional who thrives in a high-ownership environment and enjoys solving complex technical challenges. You bring:

• 6+ years of experience in Infrastructure, Dev Ops, or Cloud Engineering roles
• Strong experience with Azure and/or AWS environments
• Proven experience with infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform/Open Tofu)
