Position: Hybrid Role: SAP ABAP Developer
Transform CIBC's SAP applications as a hybrid SAP ABAP Developer based in Toronto. You'll focus on developing, testing, and optimizing SAP solutions using ABAP, enhancing system performance while collaborating with teams.
This role is designed for seasoned developers experienced in ABAP programming and S/4

HANA environments. You'll work closely with functional teams to collect business requirements and ensure all custom solutions meet established SAP standards. Your contributions will warrant a significant impact on development quality and project success.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create and implement custom SAP applications using ABAP

• Optimize and troubleshoot existing SAP programs

• Liaise with various teams to ensure alignment on requirements

• Provide robust documentation and facilitate knowledge transfer

• Engage in SAP upgrades and support integration projects
Requirements:

• Strong background in ABAP development and enhancements

• Experience with HANA-specific optimizations and CDS Views

• Exposure to SAP Fiori/UI5 is desirable

• Analytical mindset for troubleshooting and issue resolution

• Ability to offer on-call support post working hours
