Migration Readiness Analyst – Open Shift/Kubernetes
Location:
Remote (India)
Duration: 12 Months (Extendable)
Experience:
6–9 Years
Shift Timings: Night Shift (North America EST Hours)
Key Responsibilities
Assess application readiness for migration from Open Shift on VMware to Open Shift on Bare Metal.
Perform pre-migration checks, validate configurations, dependencies, and prerequisites.
Identify and track migration risks, issues, and blockers.
Coordinate migration schedules with application teams and project stakeholders.
Support migration planning, testing, cutover activities, and production migration windows.
Maintain migration runbooks, checklists, and readiness documentation.
Required Skills
Hands-on experience with Open Shift and Kubernetes.
Good knowledge of Helm Charts, Kubernetes manifests, and containerized applications.
Strong Linux and networking fundamentals.
Experience supporting enterprise application migration projects.
Ability to work independently and collaborate with global teams.
