Position: Senior Site Reliability Engineer for Storage
Shape the future of cloud storage as a Senior Site Reliability Engineer. Ensure the reliability and efficiency of distributed storage services that underpin our cloud architecture.
In this pivotal role, you will collaborate with development teams to define service level objectives and optimize storage layer operations. Your work will not only enhance existing services but also support new customer workloads. The position allows for remote work across Canada, ideally within an Eastern or Central time zone.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and support multi-tenant distributed storage systems

• Build and assure resiliency in infrastructure services

• Implement metrics for overall service health and incident response

• Participate in 24/7 support rotations for storage issues

• Optimize performance from application layers to low-level infrastructure
Requirements:

• 6+ years of experience in distributed systems development

• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or Go

• Experience with stateful storage and database systems

• Knowledge of cloud infrastructures like GCP or AWS

• Strong understanding of containerization with Kubernetes
