What you are going to do
- Build organization-wide support within NN for representing UX interests, positively influencing product strategies
- Ensure coherent user experiences across various touchpoints such as the advisor portal, the My NN Business environment, and the business website
- Strengthen the maturity of UX design within the organization, helping B2B & Broker implement validated solutions to real customer problems
- Guide the execution of design work, the adoption of our standard design practices, and efficient collaboration between teams
- Ensure optimal utilization of our design talent, meaning they develop professionally, are positioned in the right roles, and deliver coherent, high-quality design
- Salary between €6,378 and €8,504 based on a 36-hour work week, depending on your knowledge and experience
- 13th month and holiday allowance are paid with your monthly salary

You are well‑organized, able to maintain oversight, and comfortable working with a broad scope and a wide range of (senior) stakeholders. While connecting the dots, you identify opportunities for efficiency or innovation and are eager to turn these ideas into tangible results and motivate others to take action. You are a strong team player who can inspire others, foster collaboration, and achieve shared goals by providing clear direction.
You keep the bigger picture in mind and understand the impact of your decisions on other parts of the organization.
- A relevant bachelor’s or master’s degree and at least 10 years of experience in UX design within large, complex organisations (a combination of agency, consultancy, and in‑house experience is a plus)
- Extensive experience in UX design for (business) digital products and applied design techniques across the product development lifecycle—from discovering customer problems to validating whether the solution meets customer needs
- Experience in (hierarchical) leadership, including HR responsibilities, as well as coaching and developing designers professionally
- Experience in developing and implementing design vision and strategy for products and/or platforms
- Experience in advancing the maturity of UX design within a complex organisation
- Fluency in Dutch and English
The B2B & Broker domain is part of our central Customer & Digital organisation. Customer & Digital is responsible for the shared platforms that bring together products from all business units (Banking, Income, P&C, Pensions) into one customer experience. The B2B & Broker domain is an international team with a results‑driven culture. In this role, together with product management and engineering management, you will be part of the leadership team of the Head of B2B & Broker.
You will work in multidisciplinary product teams consisting of product owners, four UX designers reporting to you, developers, and more. You will also collaborate closely with Customer Research and the central Design System team to help your designers work even more effectively. Within our NN Design Guild, we regularly come together for knowledge sharing, inspiration sessions, and co‑creation. You will join the guild’s core team, where you work with other UX Managers to further strengthen the maturity of UX within NN.
