The Opportunity

Are you passionate about uncovering the cultural, consumer, and social insights that shape creative thinking?

Do you enjoy leading teams, developing people, and helping clients make smarter decisions through research?

Are you equally comfortable diving into data, presenting to senior stakeholders, and collaborating with strategists and creatives?

We are looking for a Research & Insights Supervisor to lead our Research & Insights function in Amsterdam. This role combines team leadership, client partnership, and hands‑on research expertise to ensure insight remains at the heart of our work.

You will oversee the delivery of high-quality research and insight projects, helping uncover opportunities, understand audiences, evaluate performance, and shape culturally relevant strategies. Alongside leading projects, you will mentor and develop team members, strengthen collaboration across disciplines, and act as a trusted advisor to both clients and internal stakeholders.

What You’ll Have Delivered Elsewhere
  • Led and developed high-performing research, insights, analytics, or strategy teams.
  • Managed complex end-to-end research projects, from methodology design and setup through to analysis, storytelling, and presentation.
  • Applied a broad range of research methodologies, including quantitative research, qualitative approaches, social listening, audience intelligence, and cultural analysis.
  • Turned complex data into clear, actionable insights and strategic recommendations.
  • Built trusted relationships with senior clients and stakeholders, confidently presenting findings and influencing decision-making.
  • Partnered with strategy, creative, and account teams to ensure insights drive impactful work.
  • Developed compelling narratives that bring research findings to life and inspire action.
  • Maintained high standards of quality across research outputs while managing multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Supported new business opportunities and contributed to agency growth through insight‑led thinking.
What Else Are We Looking For?
  • 6+ years of experience in research, insights, strategy, data analysis, or a related field, ideally within an agency, consultancy, or similarly fast‑paced client‑services environment.
  • Strong expertise across both quantitative and qualitative research methodologies.
  • A deep understanding of culture, audience behaviour, social media, and digital trends.
  • Experience using social listening and audience intelligence tools such as Sprinklr, Talkwalker, GWI, or similar platforms.
  • Strong leadership and mentoring skills, with experience managing and developing team members.
  • Proven ability to independently lead projects and build confidence with senior stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication, storytelling, and presentation skills.
  • A proactive mindset and curiosity for exploring new research approaches, methodologies, and sources of insight.
  • Strong collaboration skills and the ability to work effectively across strategy, creative, account management, and client teams.
  • Passion for social platforms, emerging technologies, and the role culture plays in shaping consumer behaviour
