Job Overview
As Master Data Coordinator, you are responsible for maintaining a solid and future‑proof master data set that supports our end‑to‑end business processes. Your role is at the intersection of Business, IT, and Data, ensuring that master data supports process efficiency, system integrity, and decision making. You will focus on Customer Master Data while also working on other master data such as Site and Supplier.
This role is based in Den Bosch, the Netherlands, and remote work from other countries is not possible. You must have the legal right to work in the Netherlands.
- Manage and maintain the master data setup to support end‑to‑end business processes.
- Act as the operational and conceptual gatekeeper for new and changed master data (mainly in SAP, but also considering consuming systems).
- Define and safeguard the most optimal master data setup across domains.
- Coordinate and follow up on change requests (CRs) with technical teams and business teams.
- Work closely with Process Owners, Data Stewards, and IT to ensure alignment.
- Serve as a sparring partner for Business and IT on SAP and other system‑related master data topics.
- Own and coordinate the Master Data Lifecycle.
- Maintain clear documentation as the single source of truth for master data definitions and structures.
- Support and train responsible departments and operational teams.
- Participate in projects to improve and secure master data quality.
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent level of working and thinking).
- Minimum 4 years of experience in a similar master data or data coordination role—ideally with a focus on Customer/BP master.
- Strong knowledge of SAP, especially in relation to master data objects and integrations.
- Experience translating business requirements into (SAP) master data structures.
- Good analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to connect stakeholders and inspire collaboration.
- Proactive, structured, and comfortable taking ownership.
- Professional proficiency in English.
- Base salary based on 38 hours per week; full‑time work is 40 hours per week.
