Our client is a leading international organization operating within a fast‑paced, business‑critical environment where technology availability and user experience are key success factors. To strengthen its End User Computing (EUC) team, the company is seeking a highly skilled Senior Desktop Support Engineer to provide premium user support, maintain workplace technologies, and contribute to continuous improvement and automation initiatives.

Key Responsibilities End User Support
  • Provide day‑to‑day desktop support for users located in Geneva and remote offices.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, networking, mobility, and telephony issues.
  • Install, configure, maintain, and support Windows and macOS workstations.
  • Support Microsoft 365 applications and business‑critical enterprise applications.
  • Manage and maintain end‑user devices including laptops, desktops, mobile phones, printers, scanners, and peripherals.
Onboarding and User Lifecycle Management
  • Prepare and onboard new employees, including:
    • User account creation
    • Workstation and laptop provisioning
    • Application deployment
    • Telephony and communication setup
    • Network connectivity configuration
  • Support employee moves, changes, and offboarding activities.
  • Deploy and maintain devices using SCCM, Intune, and other endpoint management solutions.
  • Administer and support:
    • Active Directory
    • Microsoft Entra  (Azure AD)
    • Group Policies (GPO)
    • Exchange
    • Microsoft Endpoint Management solutions
  • Ensure compliance with corporate standards and security requirements.
Trading and Market Data Support
  • Support trading floor and market data applications.
  • Ensure the availability and performance of critical business applications used by front‑office teams.
  • Liaise with vendors, infrastructure teams, and business stakeholders to resolve complex incidents and service requests.
Collaboration, AV and Virtual Environments
  • Support collaboration and communication platforms, including Microsoft Teams.
  • Maintain audio‑visual and video conferencing technologies in meeting rooms.
  • Support virtual desktop environments including Citrix, VMware VDI, and Azure Virtual Desktop.
Continuous Improvement and Automation
  • Analyze recurring incidents and identify opportunities for service improvements.
  • Design, develop, and maintain internal tools to improve operational efficiency and user support capabilities.
  • Contribute to automation initiatives using Power Shell and other technologies.
  • Produce and maintain technical documentation, operational procedures, and knowledge base articles.
Operational Support
  • Participate in on‑call and shift rotation schedules.
  • Provide support outside standard business hours when required to support critical business operations.
Profil Required Experience
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a Senior Desktop Support Engineer, End User Computing Engineer, or similar role.
  • Experience working in demanding, high‑availability environments where rapid response and excellent customer service are essential.
  • Experience supporting executive users and business‑critical teams is highly desirable.
Technical Skills Microsoft Ecosystem

Strong hands‑on experience with:

  • Windows 10 / Windows 11
  • Microsoft 365
  • Active Directory
  • Exchange
  • SCCM
  • Group Policy Management
Networking

Good understanding of:

  • LAN/WAN connectivity
  • Wi‑Fi technologies
  • Structured cabling and patching
Unified Communications

Experience supporting:

  • Enterprise telephony solutions
Audio‑Visual Technologies

Experience with:

  • Meeting room technologies
  • Microsoft Teams Rooms
  • Logitech or similar collaboration hardware
Virtualization and Cloud

Good knowledge of:

  • Citrix
  • VMware VDI
  • AWS
Scripting and Automation
  • Power Shell scripting experience preferred.
  • Experience developing automation solutions and operational tooling is a strong advantage.
  • Good knowledge of macOS administration and support
Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or equivalent qualification.
  • Relevant Microsoft or endpoint management certifications are advantageous.
Languages
  • English:
    Fluent (written and spoken)
  • French:
    Professional working proficiency is an advantage
