Senior SAP Business Warehouse; BW Developer

Our Toronto based client is seeking an experienced Senior SAP Business Warehouse (BW) Developer to join their project immediately and will run for 4 months, with possibility of an extension. The ideal candidate should have 7 years of experience with strong, hands-on knowledge of ABAP, BW, and ERP (ECC). They must have worked on and supported SAP BW 7.4 on ABAP SP19 and SAP ERP 7.3 SP8, with expertise in online sales quantity/dollar amount, deferred revenue, revenue, finance integration, reporting, ETL, and Open Hubs.

The role involves extensive reconciliation work, project work, and stabilization. This will be a fully remote work setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop SAP programs with excellent ABAP development skills, including IDOCs, RFCs, BAPIs, ABAP Proxy interfaces, user exits, and BADIs.
• Integrate POS systems into SAP ECC and BW environments, including familiarity with related user exits and BADIs.
• Serve as an expert in SAP routines and debugging.
• Apply strong, hands-on knowledge of ABAP, BW, and ERP (ECC).
• Manage external connections, including SQL, and support 3.X and 7.4 data sources and related ETL processes.
• Troubleshoot random errors with no clear error definition.
• Work with the BW POS Inbound Processing Engine (PIPE) and the standard IDoc message type /POSDW/ (PIPE: BAPI for creating several POS transactions).
• Manage SAP ECC IDoc message types:  – POS interface:

• Participate in high-level design sessions with other implementation teams and business stakeholders to help drive solution design.
• Leverage SAP Process Integration (PI) or other middleware development skills experience is an asset.
