Context:
We are for an experienced Project Manager to lead two critical technology work streams within a large-scale transformation programme with one of our client, a leading international investment bank. The candidate will drive end-to-end project delivery across a database application segregation initiative and a reporting solution alignment programme, ensuring strategic alignment with the client's architecture standards, business and IT requirements, budget constraints, and governance frameworks.
This is a fully remote position.
Role:
- Lead and coordinate assigned project work streams from initiation through to delivery, ensuring all milestones are met on time and within budget.
- Ensure full alignment with the client's enterprise architecture standards, business and IT requirements, and internal governance frameworks.
- Define and manage project scope, maintain detailed project plans, and proactively identify and mitigate risks and dependencies.
- Own stakeholder communication across senior executives, technology teams, operations, and external vendors, providing regular status updates and executive-level reporting.
- Drive issue resolution, escalating blockers as appropriate and maintaining clear audit trails of decisions and actions.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams to deliver complex, multi-workstream initiatives in a regulated financial environment.
- Support budget tracking, resource planning, and timeline management throughout the project lifecycle.
Profile:
- Proven experience leading cross-functional projects within investment banking, capital markets, or financial services, with strong understanding of regulatory and risk management requirements.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with demonstrated ability to coordinate senior executives, technology teams, operations, and external vendors across complex initiatives.
- Strong project delivery expertise using Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid methodologies — including budget management, timeline tracking, dependency management, and issue resolution.
- Full fluency in English (written and verbal), essential for all communications, documentation, and stakeholder engagement.
Nice to have:
- Experience with product lifecycle management and familiarity with banking systems, data governance frameworks, or digital transformation programmes.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret financial data, produce executive-level reporting, and support strategic decision-making in fast-paced, high-pressure environments.
