About the Role

We are looking for an Azure Data Platform Administrator to join our consulting team in the Montreal office.

This position is offered in a hybrid work model.

The Cloud Dev Ops Analyst is responsible for implementing and managing CI/CD pipelines, automating infrastructure deployments, and ensuring efficient software delivery using Azure Dev Ops tools and services. This role plays a critical part in bridging development and operations teams, enabling faster, more reliable releases while maintaining security and compliance standards. In addition, the Cloud Dev Ops Analyst plays a critical role in supporting cloud migration initiatives, including automating deployment workflows and ensuring smooth transitions between environments during migration projects.

• Pipeline Development & Automation
  • Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure Dev Ops.
  • Automate build, test, and deployment processes for applications and infrastructure.
• Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
  • Implement IaC using ARM templates, Terraform, or Bicep for Azure resources.
• Cloud Migration & Operations
  • Support cloud migration and modernization initiatives, ensuring smooth transitions between environments.
  • Automate deployment workflows and environment provisioning during migration activities.
  • Investigate and troubleshoot deployment, infrastructure, and release management issues.
• Security & Compliance
  • Apply Dev Sec Ops  practices and secure CI/CD pipelines.
  • Implement RBAC, secrets management, pipeline security, and governance standards.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in Dev Ops, Cloud Engineering, or Infrastructure Automation roles.
• Hands‑on experience working in Microsoft Azure cloud environments.
• Experience supporting cloud migration and modernization initiatives.
• Strong experience with Azure Dev Ops:
  Azure Pipelines, Azure Repos, Azure Artifacts, Azure Boards.
• Proficiency with IaC tools:
  Terraform, ARM Templates, Bicep.
• Knowledge of Azure services:
  App Services, Kubernetes Service (AKS), Functions, Virtual Machines, Storage, Networking.
• Experience with containerization:
  Docker, Kubernetes.
• Proficiency with scripting:
  Power Shell, Bash, Python.
• Experience with source control and branching strategies using Git.
• Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools:
  Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Application Insights.

• Organizational skills with attention to detail.

• Microsoft Certified:
  Azure Dev Ops Engineer Expert.
• Microsoft Certified:
  Azure Administrator Associate.
• Terraform Associate certification (considered an asset).
