Network & Security Engineer (Remote Hands) – Long-Term Contract

We are seeking an experienced Network & Security Engineer for a long-term contract engagement. The initial contract term is 12 months , with the possibility of extension based on project requirements and performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and execute network and security infrastructure optimization, migration, deployment, and modernization projects.
• Design and implement network and security solutions in accordance with customer standards, architecture, and best practices.
• Plan and execute data center migration, consolidation, and infrastructure transformation initiatives.
• Perform network infrastructure modifications, upgrades, and enhancements to support business and operational requirements.
• Lead the migration and upgrade of application delivery and load-balancing platforms to newer-generation hardware and technologies.
• Develop implementation plans, migration strategies, testing procedures, and rollback plans.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, vendors, and stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex network and security issues during project execution.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, diagrams, and operational procedures.
• Support ongoing operational initiatives and additional infrastructure projects as assigned.

Required Skills & Experience

• Strong experience in enterprise network design, implementation, migration, and troubleshooting.
• Hands-on expertise with routing, switching, firewalls, VPNs, and network security technologies.
• Experience with load balancers and application delivery controllers, including migration and upgrade projects.
• Knowledge of data center infrastructure, network architecture, and disaster recovery principles.
• Experience managing infrastructure transformation and migration projects from planning through execution.
• Strong understanding of network security best practices and enterprise security frameworks.
• Ability to work independently in a remote hands/support capacity while coordinating with global teams.
• Excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Industry certifications such as CCNP, CCIE, NSE, PCNSE, F5, or equivalent.
• Experience supporting large-scale enterprise environments and multi-site network infrastructures.
• Familiarity with cloud networking and hybrid infrastructure environments.

Contract Duration: Initial 12-month engagement with extension potential.
