Role Description
This is a part-time, hybrid role based in the London Area, United Kingdom, with flexibility for some work from home. The Search Engine Optimization Specialist will plan and execute SEO initiatives that support Nebula’s clients across technical, engineering, and service-based sectors.
Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting keyword research, performing technical and content SEO audits, optimizing on-page elements, and monitoring performance in web analytics tools. The Specialist will develop and refine link-building strategies, collaborate with writers and designers to ensure content is search-friendly and user-focused, and provide clear recommendations to improve visibility, traffic quality, and lead conversion.
The role also involves preparing concise SEO reports, communicating insights to internal stakeholders and clients, and staying current on search engine algorithm updates and best practices.
Qualifications- Demonstrated ability in keyword research and on-page SEO, including optimizing metadata, headings, internal links, and content structure.
- Experience conducting comprehensive SEO audits to identify technical, content, and user-experience issues that impact organic performance.
- Proficiency in link-building strategy and execution, with a focus on ethical, high-quality backlink acquisition.
- Comfort using web analytics and SEO tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Search Console, keyword and site-crawl tools) to interpret data and drive decisions.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable recommendations.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to explain SEO concepts to non-specialist stakeholders.
- Experience working with B2B, technical, or service-based businesses is beneficial.
- Familiarity with content management systems and basic HTML/CSS is an advantage.
- Ability to work independently in a hybrid environment, manage multiple client priorities, and meet deadlines consistently.
