Position: 2nd Line Technical Support Analyst (PM Shift)
Location: Brighton

Location & Availability

Overview

Join a fast‑growing, busy IT company that provides technical support services to SMEs across the UK on IT and telecoms products and services. As a member of a dynamic team you will provide technical support and work on IT projects.

Responsibilities
  • Respond to phone calls and tickets covering installations and maintenance for the growing client base.
  • Work on various IT projects as assigned.
Required Knowledge & Skills
  • Friendly and responsive telephone manner.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Ability to solve problems under pressure while prioritising effectively.
  • Excellent timekeeping.
  • Good first‑time fix rate.
  • At least 2 years of experience solving I.T. related problems in a similar position.
  • Microsoft qualifications beneficial; training will be provided, and self‑learning is essential.
Required Experience
  • Microsoft Operating Systems (desktop and server 2012‑2019).
  • Office 365 (licensing, setup, migration).
  • VMware ESXi/VCentre Server.
  • Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, etc.
  • VPNs, routers and firewalls.
  • Networking – WAN, LAN, security, SSL, IP routing, switching.
  • Anti‑Virus platforms such as Trend Micro.
  • Backup solutions (Veeam Backup & Replication, Datto).

  • 22 days holiday plus bank holidays; 2 days taken at Christmas; birthday off; additional days for 5+ years of service up to 27 days.
