Job Overview
The energy transition needs you as Functional IGA Specialist. As a Functional IGA Specialist, you will help improve and future‑prove Alliander’s authorisation model, analysing role structures, identifying risks and inconsistencies, and translating IAM insights into practical improvements that role owners can understand and apply.
Responsibilities- Analyse the current authorisation model and identify improvement opportunities based on risks, duplication, inconsistencies and organisational change.
- Translate findings into concrete improvement proposals for role owners and stakeholders, balancing risk, usability and manageability.
- Engage with role owners, product teams and security to explain choices, support decision‑making and build alignment.
- Implement improvements in roles, assignments, group structures and underlying logic, and monitor and evaluate their effectiveness.
- Handle incidents and requests related to authorisations and ensure structural issues are resolved sustainably.
- Collaborate closely with the IAM process specialist, authorisation management colleagues, architects, solution leads and the service desk to ensure role changes are implemented successfully across the full chain.
- Proactively explore opportunities to improve the role structure together with the business, focusing on least privilege, efficiency and user convenience.
- HBO/WO level of education and thinking with broad knowledge of Identity & Access Management.
- 5+ years of experience with authorisation models (RBAC, ABAC), role management, IAM principles and information security.
- Strong analytical skills – recognising patterns, connections and risks in complex role structures and understanding their context.
- Excellent communication skills – capable of making complex topics understandable and guiding stakeholders through change.
- Experience with SailPoint or similar IAM products, or the ambition to develop this expertise.
- Proactive mindset and drive to continuously improve in an agile working environment.
- Strong command of English;
Dutch is a major advantage.
Based on a 40‑hour working week, you will receive:
- A gross monthly salary of €4,580 to €7,585 (scale9‑10).
- An Individual Choice Budget (IKB) of 18% (full time) or 12.8% (part time) of your gross annual salary, including 5.2% ADV and 8% holiday allowance. The IKB can be paid out as extra salary or used for additional days off, a sport or hobby allowance, or reducing student loan debt.
- 24.5 holiday days per year, which can be topped up from your IKB.
- End‑of‑year bonus of 6% of your annual salary in December.
- Sustainable employability budget of €700 per year.
- Flexible working – you may combine office and remote work if your position allows.
This position is open to full‑time and part‑time candidates. Your role will be within the RAM team, an agile multidisciplinary team of eight professionals, a Product Owner and a Scrum Master. The team works in a hybrid environment, with fixed collaboration days in Arnhem and Amsterdam, and occasional remote work from Haarlem.
