Our public sector client is seeking a QA Lead to execute quality assurance strategies across system-agnostic technology environments - VOR#A

Join a project-focused team supporting key HR improvement initiatives within a provincial organization. This role delivers comprehensive QA planning, test execution, and defect management to ensure high-quality solutions across Oracle Cloud (HCM) and UKG WFM platforms. The position provides visibility across business and IT teams, contributing to enterprise-level system validation and quality reporting.

3 months contract to start. Remote working PST

Must Haves

5–8+ years in software testing and quality assurance including leading QA activities on complex projects

Experience with Oracle Cloud HCM and UKG WFM

Proven experience in system-agnostic or multi-platform testing such as ERP
, SaaS
, integration, and data

Hands-on with full QA lifecycle including test strategy
, planning, execution, defect management, and reporting

Strong understanding of testing methodologies—(functional, integration, regression, UAT, performance)

Familiarity with test management tools including JIRA
, Zephyr
, Test Rail, or Tricentis

Nice to Have

Exposure to Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid delivery models

Experience with test automation tools/frameworks such as Selenium or Cypress

Understanding of APIs, data validation, and system integration testing concepts

Responsibilities

Execute QA strategy and test planning across diverse technology environments

Develop and maintain test cases and scripted test execution results

Coordinate end-to-end defect tracking, resolution, and reporting

Generate defect logs, quality metrics, and status reports for stakeholders

Prepare test summary reports and Go/No-Go recommendations for release readiness

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to validate business and technical requirements

Support continuous improvement of QA practices and documentation
