Introduction
We are currently on a ‘work-from-home’ model and at customer sites when required. It will be expected to have home connectivity that is able to support work from home requirements.
It will be expected of you to travel to customers either by road or by air depending on distance. Most travels are in‑and‑out daily and constitute on average a round‑trip of 300km. Further distances of round‑trip 600km require stay‑over.
Instances do occur where stay is required for a week. During the Project phases, overnight stays are generally from Monday to Thursday during training and system go‑live phases.
There is connectivity to most customers. Support can be done remotely. Travelling is necessary when there is a requirement for face‑to‑face customer communication, upgrades, implementations etc.
Many System upgrades occur after hours so there will be a requirement on occasion to perform upgrades after hours.
Duties & Responsibilities- Gain expert knowledge of the functionality and capability of the Business System
- Define business requirements
- Mapping - Business System to business requirements
- Implement Business System. Includes but not limited to:
- Project lead
- Requirements Analysis
- Configure System
- Train user on System
- Support System
- Business owners
- Key users
- End Users
- A solid knowledge and skills to perform SQL coding (mandatory) for:
- Selects, updates, joins
- Scripts
- SQL views
- Query analysis
- Data Migration scripts
- Stored procedures
- Triggers
- Provide technical specifications for implementation
- Understand, follow and implement various customer change control processes
- Testing
- System testing
- Data testing
- Process testing
Formal qualifications are not imperative. The following qualifications do however support the job role:
- B-Eng Industrial Engineer
- B-Com Information Technology
- Specific ICT courses related to Projects and Systems implementations.
Minimum 5‑8 years’ experience in implementing Enterprise Business Systems.
The Business System, called Qmed
, provides industries with a Digital Occupational Health and Hygiene Management Solution. Included in the functionality is occupational health, primary health, chronic monitoring, managed disease, injury on duty, Hygiene functionality for Hygienists.
Business process, Business requirement and technology experience in the Occupational Health and Hygiene industry will be an added advantage.
Package & RemunerationSalary range dependent on individual skills and experience.
