Matrix HR is seeking a highly professional and tech-savvy IS Executive Support Assistant to serve as the trusted technology partner for an Executive Leadership Team (ELT) in Calgary. This is a high-visibility, "white-glove " service role that sits at the intersection of executive enablement, enterprise AV infrastructure, and digital transformation.

What You Will Do
Providing VIP-level technical support with the highest degree of professionalism and discretion.
Delivering proactive monitoring and maintenance of executive IT environments to ensure uninterrupted business continuity.
Managing and troubleshooting a wide range of devices, including laptops, tablets, and mobile phones (iOS and Windows).
Providing dedicated AV and technology support for high-profile executive-led events, such as town halls and investor days.
Running and managing Microsoft Teams Live events to ensure smooth virtual presentations.
Educating and onboarding senior leaders on new AI-powered productivity tools, specifically Microsoft Copilot and AI agents.
Ensuring the reliable operation of meeting room AV systems, digital signage, and collaboration spaces.
Coordinating closely with Executive Associates to minimize disruption during software or hardware updates.
Requirements
Education:
A University degree or equivalent professional experience.
Experience:
Minimum of 2 to 3 years in IT support, workplace technology, or digital enablement roles.
Technical Skills
Strong hands‑on experience with the Microsoft 365 suite (Teams, Outlook, Office apps).
A genuine interest and proficiency in AI productivity tools, particularly Microsoft Copilot.
Experience setting up and supporting end‑user hardware (laptops, phones, tablets).
Familiarity with AV systems and virtual event platforms (Teams Live).
Interpersonal Skills
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
The ability to remain calm and confident under pressure or scrutiny from senior leaders.
A professional and discreet demeanor, with a deep commitment to confidentiality.
Work Environment and Schedule
This is a full‑time, on‑site position based at the TC Energy Tower in Calgary. Hybrid or remote work options are not available. While the standard schedule is 8 hours per day, flexibility is essential. The role may require early starts (as early as 6:00 AM) or evening support based on the executive schedule. Occasional travel within Canada, the United States, or Mexico may be required.
