We are looking for an  experienced Senior IT Administrator  with deep expertise in Malware Protection technologies, specifically  Trellix , to join our team. This role is for a prestigious client in the financial sector, requiring a highly operational and self-sufficient professional to support, troubleshoot, and upgrade advanced security systems.

Key Responsibilities
Serve as the primary expert for  Trellix  technologies, ensuring optimal performance, troubleshooting issues, and managing upgrades.
Deploy, configure, and maintain advanced Malware Protection solutions, including  Trellix ,  McAfee ,  Tanium , and  Beyond Trust .
Provide hands-on operational support and expert-level troubleshooting for security tools.
Govern and support  Data Security/Protection  projects or programs.
Develop and maintain documentation, procedures, and tools for security solutions.
Collaborate with teams to present complex technical solutions in an understandable way.
Lead efforts to enhance and optimize security measures and tools.

Required Qualifications
Minimum of  10+ years of professional IT experience , with  5+ years in security or Malware Protection technologies .
Proven expertise with  Trellix  or similar tools (McAfee, Tanium, Beyond Trust).
Strong knowledge of scripting languages like  Power Shell  or  Python .
Deep understanding of security concepts, IT systems, and infrastructure.
Experience in leading projects or teams (team leadership experience is a plus).
Proactive and autonomous, with the ability to deliver results without extensive onboarding.
Preferred Skills
15+ years of IT experience  is highly desirable, even if not all in cybersecurity.
Relevant certifications (e.g.,  CISSP ,  CISM , or product-specific certifications) are a strong plus.
Experience in regulated industries such as finance.
