Our client is a rapidly growing product-based organization specializing in SaaS-based Human Resource Management System (HRMS) solutions tailored for the public sector. Their enterprise-grade applications are used by thousands of users daily, offering scalable and integrated HR solutions to public institutions.



Position Overview

We are looking for a Senior Manual QA Engineer to lead and execute manual testing activities across enterprise-scale HRMS platforms. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in manual QA, complex SQL, and an understanding of enterprise systems. While the primary focus is manual testing, familiarity with Selenium and Java for automation is a strong plus.



Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute comprehensive manual test cases for web and enterprise applications.
• Conduct functional, regression, integration, and system-level testing.
• Validate backend data by writing and executing complex SQL queries (joins, aggregations, subqueries).
• Analyze system requirements and collaborate with developers and product managers to define test strategies.
• Identify, document, and manage defects using tools such as JIRA, ensuring clear communication and tracking through resolution.
• Work within Agile/Scrum teams, actively participating in sprint ceremonies and contributing to sprint deliverables.
• Support or maintain automated tests using Selenium Web Driver and Java (if applicable).
• Provide mentoring and guidance to junior QA engineers when needed.

• 5+ years of experience in manual QA testing within enterprise-scale environments.
• Proficiency in writing and executing complex SQL queries for data validation.
• Strong understanding of QA methodologies, test planning, and defect lifecycle management.
• Experience with QA tools such as Test Rail, Zephyr, and JIRA.
• Exposure to domains such as finance, healthcare, insurance, or other large-scale enterprise systems.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced Agile environment.

• Hands-on experience with Selenium Web Driver and Java for test automation.
• Experience testing REST APIs using tools like Postman.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, Git Lab CI).
• Prior experience working on HRMS or other human resource platforms.

• 100% Remote (PST working hours)
