With a global customer base spanning Australia, the US, and the EU, they're now building out a Belfast R&D function to develop the next generation of their software platform, with AI at the core of the architecture.

The Role You'll be the second engineer on the Belfast team, working directly with the VP of Engineering. This isn't a role where you'll be handed tickets and left to get on with it - you'll co-own the full platform end-to-end, from architecture decisions and technology choices through to shipping production code across web, mobile, API, and cloud. As the team grows, you'll help shape how it operates.

Key Responsibilities Build customer-facing web and mobile experiences using React and React Native (Expo) Design and implement APIs, data models, and cloud architecture on AWS (CDK, App Sync, Lambda, RDS, Aurora, S3, Cognito, IAM) Share live platform operations with the VP of Engineering, including reliability, performance, and on-call response Embed AI capabilities - LLMs, RAG, agentic patterns - into the product where they add genuine value Help define engineering standards, CI/CD pipelines, and observability practices as the team scales What You'll Need Essential 5 years' relevant software engineering experience Demonstrably strong Type Script skills, ideally within React or React Native

Experience with SQL/No
