The Faraday Institution is the UK’s independent institute for electrochemical energy storage research, skills development, market analysis and early-stage commercialisation. Our mission is to make significant scientific breakthroughs in battery technology research towards decarbonisation and in the global race to electrification.
We bring together 500 researchers across 25 UK universities and work with 150 UK industry partners. Based at the Harwell Science and Innovation Campus in Oxfordshire, our head office is small, collaborative and central to the success and visibility of the organisation.
We are seeking a tech‑savvy Digital Communications Co‑ordinator to lead and grow our digital presence and to provide wider support across the Engagement, Education, Events and other teams. This role will shape how we communicate opportunities and impact associated with our research, commercialisation, training and policy initiatives, and engage our audiences across web, social media and other online platforms.
The Digital Communications Co‑ordinator will facilitate the successful delivery of multiple impactful initiatives including delivery of high‑quality online and in‑person events. The role would suit a resilient and confident individual who can operate largely under their own initiative and who thrives on working in a fast‑paced environment on a variety of projects.
The Faraday Institution offers plenty of opportunities for career growth with ongoing training, mentoring, skills development and support from a friendly team.
