Experience
Required:
- 12+ years of SAP experience with strong technical foundation
- Minimum 2–3 years as Engagement Manager / Delivery Manager
- Proven track record managing SAP AMS / support engagements
- Experience working with US clients in a global delivery model
- Strong exposure to S/4
HANA (Private Cloud / RISE preferred)
Job Location: Canada - Remote

Role Overview:
Cloud Labs is looking for a client-facing Engagement Manager to lead SAP Technical AMS engagements, primarily focused on S/4
HANA Private Cloud environments. This is a hands-on leadership role requiring a balance of technical depth (Basis and/or Security) and engagement management expertise, suited for someone who thrives in a mid-sized, high-growth environment with direct visibility to executive leadership.
Key Responsibilities:
Engagement Ownership:
Own end-to-end SAP AMS engagements for US-based clients, ensuring delivery excellence, SLA adherence, and client satisfaction
Act as the single point of accountability for Cloud Labs delivery in technical AMS engagements
Manage engagement financials, margins, and resource utilization
Client & Relationship Management:
Serve as a trusted advisor to client IT leadership and stakeholders
Lead governance calls, QBRs, and escalation management
Identify growth opportunities (upsell / cross-sell) within existing accounts
Technical Leadership
- Provide hands-on or advisory support in SAP Basis and/or SAP Security
- Oversee:
o System performance and availability
o Transports, upgrades, patching, and refreshes
o Security compliance and audit readiness
- Drive best practices for S/4
HANA Private Edition / RISE environments - Experience on S4
Upgrades to versions, 2022, 2025 etc.
Team Leadership & Development:
- Lead a distributed team across onsite/offshore delivery models
- Mentor and grow next-level leaders within the team
- Drive accountability, ownership, and a strong delivery culture
Operational Excellence:
- Establish and enforce ITIL-based AMS processes
- Drive continuous improvement, automation, and efficiency initiatives
- Monitor KPIs, SLAs, and ensure proactive issue resolution
