Support end-users effectively as a Desktop Support Engineer with Axiom Technologies. This hybrid, part-time role in Gatineau ensures optimal desktop experience through responsive technical assistance.
The Desktop Support Engineer position at Axiom Technologies provides vital first and second-level technical support to users. With over 3 years of IT infrastructure experience, you will manage service requests, address desktop issues rapidly, and ensure compliance with security standards. Your ability to coordinate with clients and technical teams is crucial to achieving high-resolution rates.
Key Responsibilities:
• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues on-site
• Perform advanced desk-side support and IMAC activities
• Monitor queues and update Service Now accordingly
• Provide valuable insights to improve technical processes
• Cultivate positive relationships with IT management and clients
Requirements:
• Minimum 3 years of IT support experience
• Valid A+ certification plus certified in Cisco or Microsoft
• Proficient in Windows 10, Office Suite, and internetworking basics
• Strong analytical and communication capabilities
• Flexibility to work varied schedules
