The team provides the infrastructure that enables customers to build next‑generation AI applications, from LLM/GenAI inference platforms to autonomous agents.

Responsibilities

Contributing a critical role in the sales lifecycle as a deep technical expert and strategic partner
Assisting AI/GPU‑focused solutions across Asia, working closely with Cloud Sales leadership and account sales teams to drive high‑impact opportunities
Designing for customers and building AI inference platforms from the ground up
Facilitating customers through architectural decisions, prototyping/PoCs, and positioning Akamai/Linode as a key enabler of their AI journey
Acting as a thought leader in AI infrastructure both internally and externally, influencing customers, partners, and product direction

Qualifications

6+ years of experience in cloud, infrastructure, or distributed systems, with strong customer‑facing experience in presales or consulting
Deep hands‑on experience in AI/ML systems, designing and deploying AI inference systems (LLMs, CV, or recommendation models)
Expertise in GPU‑based infrastructure including GPU workload optimization, distributed inference and scaling strategies, and familiarity with modern GPU stacks
Solid experience with cloud‑native architectures in Kubernetes and container orchestration for AI workloads, and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform or similar)
Working knowledge of networking, storage, high‑performance computing concepts, data pipelines, and streaming architectures
Excellent communication skills to translate complex AI/ML concepts into business value and present to both technical and executive audiences
