Position: Quality Assurance Specialist – Hybrid Role Waterloo
Location: Southwestern Ontario

Become a key player as a Quality Assurance Specialist at our Waterloo office. This intermediate role emphasizes both manual and automated testing practices within Agile teams.

As a Quality Assurance Specialist, you'll coordinate testing activities, plan and execute comprehensive test cases, and document defects from identification through resolution.

Your role supports the Individual Wealth line of business, assuring applications adhere to functional and performance standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create and execute various testing strategies and plans

• Lead test analysis and partake in technical meetings

• Maintain and improve test automation frameworks

• Handle production support tickets for timely resolutions

• Assist in internal process improvements and documentation

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or relevant experience

• 3–5 years in software testing with 2 years in automation

• Strong knowledge of QA practices and tools

• Familiarity with SQL and XML file manipulation

• Understanding of Agile methodologies and CI/CD practices
