CBRE Excellerate is seeking a Business Analyst specialising in Utilities Business Intelligence (BI) and Analytics. The role is permanent, based in Johannesburg, Gauteng, and focuses on designing, developing and maintaining data analytics and reporting solutions for commercial real‑estate clients across Africa and the Middle East.

• Design, develop and implement BI solutions using visualization tools.
• Create and maintain data models, dashboards and KPI reports.
• Explore large data sets to generate actionable insights.
• Identify trends and recommend improvements to business operations.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate requirements into data‑driven solutions.
• Develop intuitive data visualisations and communicate findings clearly.
• Ensure data accuracy and consistency across platforms.
• Document analytics and reporting solutions.
• Work with BI developers on data engineering and model construction.
• Suggest enhancements to analytics processes and stay updated on emerging technologies.
• Train stakeholders on BI tools and best practices.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Mathematics, Business Administration or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience developing BI and analytics solutions.
• Proficiency with data visualisation tools such as Power
  
  BI, Tableau, Qlik View or SAPBI.
• Knowledge of SQL;
  Python or R is a plus.
• Understanding of data modelling, warehousing and ETL processes.
• Experience with cloud analytics platforms (AWS, Azure) is advantageous.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and within an agile team.
