Remote Mendix Architect

We are looking for an experienced Low-Code Architect Mendix for an ongoing digital transformation initiative in Switzerland. The project is part of a Mendix Low-Code Digital Factory that designs and delivers a range of business applications in a highly regulated enterprise environment.

The focus is on developing high-quality, scalable and user-centric solutions in close collaboration with business stakeholders, product owners and project teams. The role requires strong technical ownership across multiple concurrent Mendix projects, ensuring that solutions are maintainable, secure and aligned with operational requirements.

• Take ownership of the technical direction across multiple parallel Mendix projects
• Translate business requirements into scalable and maintainable Mendix solutions
• Define and enforce application architecture standards, including domain models, module structures, security concepts and integrations
• Review and govern code quality across development teams
• Establish reusable patterns, best practices and technical guidelines
• Lead technical onboarding and upskilling of junior and medior Mendix developers
• Design integrations using REST, SOAP, OData and connectors to enterprise systems such as SAP or Salesforce
• Manage technical debt and platform governance across the project portfolio
• Collaborate with project managers and product owners on scope, effort estimation and delivery risks
• Ensure alignment with Mendix best practices, CAB guidelines and Mendix Cloud/deployment standards
• Act as escalation point for cross-project technical blockers

Once a month Onsite in Switzerland, Rest Remote

• Strong experience as a Mendix Architect, Low-Code Architect or in a comparable technical leadership role
• Mendix Advanced or Expert certification
• Solid background in enterprise application design, data modelling and integration patterns
• Strong understanding of scalable and maintainable low-code architecture
• Experience with REST/SOAP APIs, OData and integrations with enterprise systems
• Knowledge of Mendix Cloud, deployment standards and platform governance
• Ability to work across multiple projects and teams in parallel
• Strong communication skills with the ability to translate technical constraints into business language
• Structured, pragmatic and solution-oriented working style
• German language skills are mandatory
