Service Now ITOM Developer About the Role We are seeking an experienced Service Now ITOM Developer to join our growing Service Now practice. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with ITOM modules, including Discovery, Service Mapping, Event Management, and CMDB. This role will be responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing Service Now ITOM solutions that improve infrastructure visibility, service health monitoring, and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and support Service Now ITOM solutions.
Configure and maintain Discovery, Service Mapping, Event Management, and MID Servers.
Build and optimize CMDB data models and ensure CMDB health and governance.
Implement and maintain CSDM-aligned service models and relationships.
Troubleshoot Discovery patterns, probes, sensors, and service maps.
Integrate Service Now with monitoring and cloud platforms using REST/SOAP APIs.
Support Service Graph Connectors and data ingestion frameworks.
Develop custom solutions using Business Rules, Script Includes, Client Scripts, Flow Designer, and Integration Hub.
Required Qualifications 4+ years of Service Now development experience.
Strong hands-on experience with Service Now ITOM.
Expertise in Discovery, Service Mapping, CMDB, Event Management, and MID Server administration.
Strong understanding of CMDB architecture, CI relationships, and data governance.
Experience implementing and maintaining CSDM.
Experience with REST/SOAP integrations and workflow automation.
Strong JavaScript and Service Now scripting skills.
Experience troubleshooting complex ITOM implementations.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with Service Graph Connectors.
Exposure to HAM, SAM, and Asset Management processes.
Experience with cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
Familiarity with Performance Analytics and Reporting.
Experience working in enterprise-scale Service Now environments.
