$50,438.85 - $56,792.24 – Temporary Full-Time, based on a 35-hour work week.

An additional 10.75% Job Family Market Multiplier will be added to the posted salary.

An additional 3% Location Allowance will be added to posted salary for northern location.

About the Job:
The Scanning Technician (Technician) provides hands-on operational support within the Records & Information Services business unit for a time-limited project. Under the direction of the Information Management Specialists, this role supports the digitization of BCER records by converting high volumes of paper files into accurate, quality verified digital records. The Technician locates, prepares, and scans physical records in accordance with established procedures and timelines, and in some cases vetting responsive information for privacy or confidentiality in compliance with FOIPPA and organizational policy.

This role is also responsible for maintaining the file system, and ensuring contents and location tracking is kept up to date and organized. The Technician provides exceptional service by contributing to a high-volume, fast-paced environment by maintaining accuracy and keen attention to detail, following established standards, and handling confidential and sensitive information with care.
