The Role As Senior Security Engineer, you'll sit at the intersection of security engineering and compliance - owning vulnerability management, secure-by-design advocacy, and security tooling across the SDLC. You'll work directly with Product and Engineering teams, have input into architectural decisions, and help build scalable, secure solutions in a cloud-first environment.

Key Responsibilities Identify and trial new security tooling across the SDLC, with a particular focus on AI-driven solutions Code solutions to security engineering challenges, primarily in Python and SQL Advocate for secure-by-design practices and consult with engineering teams across the business Maintain security data products including SBOM, asset inventory, cloud infrastructure monitoring, and SIEM Monitor, triage, and escalate cybersecurity threats; document security events including indicators of compromise Conduct security assessments and collaborate with engineering teams to remediate findings Provide security training and support across the wider engineering function What You'll Need Essential Proven experience in a Security Engineer or Security Analyst role Strong Python and SQL;

familiarity with Java or Go an advantage AWS proficiency, particularly security tooling - Security Hub, IAM, and equivalents Solid grounding in risk assessment, threat modelling, OWASP Top 10, and encryption principles
