IT QA Tester / Automation, Systems Analyst
Senior QA – Permanent, Full-time (37.5 hours, Monday to Friday). Hybrid working with 2 days in the office, 3 days working from home. Department:

We’re seeking a Senior QA with strong automation skills to help drive quality across a modern, microservices‑based platform used throughout the financial services sector. You’ll play a key part in shaping our test strategy, accelerating delivery and ensuring our systems are robust, scalable, and release‑ready.
Working in a cross functional Agile squad, you’ll lead the design and implementation of automated test frameworks, improve coverage across APIs and UI and collaborate closely with Developers, Product Owners and Dev Ops to embed quality at every stage of the lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities- Lead automation across your delivery stream, defining and improving test frameworks
- Build and maintain automated test suites covering API, integration, and UI flows
- Contribute to CI/CD pipelines to enable fast, reliable, repeatable deployments
- Partner with Engineering and Dev Ops to increase test effectiveness and quality
- Analyse and communicate defects, risks, and test outcomes with clarity
- Execute targeted manual testing when needed for complex scenarios
- Use SQL for data validation, troubleshooting, and supporting end‑to‑end tests
- Automation experience is essential.
- Have a good understanding or experience with the project lifecycle and deployment of commercial web applications.
- Knowledge on UI automation tools e.g. Selenium is essential.
- Solid experience in API integration testing, e.g. use of Swagger.
- Experience with software tools for planning and tracking the workflow of test cases and new project work.
- You thrive working in an Agile environment.
- Eager to learn with a technical mindset.
- Demonstrated willingness to be flexible and adaptable to changing priorities.
- Excellent communication skills, including verbal, written and presentation skills.
- Proven ability to work effectively both independently and in a team‑based environment, working towards tight deadlines.
