Remote Information Security Compliance Analyst

Join Gowling WLG as an Information Security Compliance Analyst in a predominantly remote role. Assess cybersecurity requirements and lead compliance audits while ensuring client security standards are met.

As part of Gowling WLG's team, you'll manage compliance obligations under the Controlled Goods Program (CGP) while serving as the Company Security Officer (CSO). The role requires oversight of ISO 27001 audits and collaboration with the Information Security Coordinator to maintain regulatory compliance. Your expertise in handling security assessments and audits will drive the firm’s commitment to information security excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess client contractual obligations and security guidelines

• Organize third-party and internal security audits

• Oversee compliance training and incident reporting

• Collaborate on ISO 27001 audit preparation

• Track compliance obligations and provide reporting

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in information security or related field

• 5+ years in compliance or cybersecurity governance

• ISO/IEC 27001:2022 Lead Auditor or Implementer

• Knowledge of Canadian security programs

• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
