Network Security Architect – SR

£70k–75k per year + Bonus + Brilliant Benefits

Our client is urgently looking for an experienced Network Security Architect to join their team on a permanent basis.

Location:

On-site 5 days per week in Oxfordshire with flexible working hours and an earlier finish on Friday. Remote working may be granted on occasion.

This global role will initially focus on Network segmentation. You will improve standards across the business and lead technical projects, working closely with technical colleagues and vendors.

Current tech stack includes Fortigate, Cisco, SD-Wan and Palo Alto.

• 10+ years hands‑on experience in network engineering and architecture, with at least 3+ years specialising in large‑scale network segmentation
• 5+ years hands‑on experience implementing and managing industry‑leading network security solutions (NGFWs, NDR, SASE, CASB, WAF, NAC, ZTNA)
• Deep expertise in core networking technologies (SDWAN, MPLS, VPN, IPSec, VLANs, etc)
• Detailed understanding of enterprise network transport protocols, infrastructure protocols, common application protocols and security protocols
• Proven history of identifying, assessing and remediating network‑related security risks/misconfigurations
• Strong technical knowledge of a Microsoft‑based enterprise IT infrastructure
• Experience as an architect or lead on large projects spanning multiple countries and cultures
• Background in defining security standards and processes in large corporate IT environments
• Working knowledge of Cyber Security frameworks/methodologies (NIST, ISO 27001, MITRE ATT&CK, Lockheed Martin Kill Chain, etc)
