This company are a dynamic and innovative Managed Service Provider (MSP) specialising in comprehensive IT solutions, driven by a passion for technology and client satisfaction. They are now looking for a Cyber Security Engineer to join them.

This role would suit an experienced IT System Engineer with information security skills. You will take ownership of escalated issues from clients and stakeholders working closely with the Network & Security Lead. This is a hands on, client facing role and would suit someone with a passion for Information Technology and the desire to develop their skills.

The ideal candidate will be a Cyber Security Engineer with technical skills in connectivity, routers, security, endpoint operating systems, virtualisation technologies, BDR, vulnerability protection and cloud SaaS solutions.

The Role:

* Remote working with two trips a month to the offices in either Birmingham or London

* Taking ownership of escalated issues from clients and stakeholders, while working closely with the IT Network & Security Lead.

* Contributing to deployment of Cybersecurity related projects

* Conducting Cybersecurity related health checks

* Responding to Cybersecurity related alerts & incidents

The Person :

* Experience working in a similar Cyber Security Engineering role in house, or an MSP

* Technical skills in connectivity, routers, security, endpoint operating systems, virtualisation technologies, BDR, vulnerability protection and cloud SaaS solutions

* Information security project experience

* Google Workspace & MS365 security administration experience

* Cybersecurity qualifications
