Position: Technical Architect | Hybrid | Up to £90k TLNT1_NI
About the Role I am seeking an experienced Technical Architect to join a growing technology team. This is a key role responsible for designing, governing, and delivering robust technical solutions that align with business objectives and enterprise architecture standards. As a Technical Architect, you will work closely with business stakeholders, delivery teams, solution architects, developers, and third-party suppliers to define and implement scalable, secure, and high-performing technology solutions.

You will provide technical leadership throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring solutions are fit for purpose and support future business growth.

Key Responsibilities Design end-to-end technical architectures for business and digital transformation initiatives. Translate business requirements into technical solutions and implementation roadmaps. Provide technical leadership and guidance to development, infrastructure, and delivery teams. Establish and maintain architecture standards, patterns, and best practices. Evaluate and recommend technologies, platforms, and tools that support strategic objectives. Ensure solutions meet security, performance, resilience, and scalability requirements.

Collaborate with stakeholders to manage technical risks and dependencies. Support project estimation, planning, and governance activities. Review solution designs and code implementations to ensure architectural compliance. Contribute to continuous improvement of the organisation's technology landscape. What do I need? Proven experience in a Technical Architect, Solution Architect, or Senior Technical Lead role. Strong understanding of cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud.

Experience designing enterprise-scale applications and integrations. Knowledge of modern software development practices including Dev Ops, CI/CD, and Agile methodologies.

Experience with API-led architecture and system integration patterns. Strong understanding of security principles and architectural governance. Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills. Ability to balance technical excellence with commercial and business considerations. What Will I get?
