Elevate your career as a Senior Synapse Engineer in a fully remote setup. Leverage your expertise in Azure Synapse to optimize pipelines, SQL transformations, and data security.
This position requires a professional with at least 8 years of data engineering experience and a minimum of 3 years specifically in Azure Synapse. You will translate Alteryx workflows into Synapse solutions and tune SQL pool performance while collaborating closely with a Data Modeler to ensure seamless data delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
• Build and optimize Synapse pipelines and SQL transformations
• Translate Alteryx logic into SQL, PySpark, or Data Flows
• Tune dedicated SQL pool performance through indexing and partitioning
• Implement CI/CD pipelines using Azure Dev Ops or Git Hub
• Manage data security and auditing processes
Requirements:
• 8+ years of data engineering experience
• 3+ years in Azure Synapse environment
• Strong expertise in T‑SQL and ETL pipeline development
• Experience migrating from Alteryx, SSIS, or Databricks
• Knowledge of Delta Lake, schema evolution, and governance
