Field Tech Strategist; Remote Ontario

About the Role

As the Technology Strategist for Canada, you will work with the CTO Labs and Field CTO Teams  role is responsible for identifying and delivering new strategic direction and thought leadership to customers, analysts, media, partners, and regulators. You will drive strategy through cross‑functional collaboration across Product, Sales, Marketing, Data Science, public sector, legal, corporate affairs, public relations, corporate development, and detection engineering.

The position reports to the Field CTO Americas and provides strategic support across the Eastern US and internationally.

• Support current and new customers by sharing Crowd Strike’s long‑range strategic vision and product roadmap, facilitating the entry of new technology concepts to market, and positioning Crowd Strike as a leading thought leader for cybersecurity.
• Drive and communicate Crowd Strike’s technology strategy to customers, partners, investors, media, and industry events.
• Engage with governments and regulators on cybersecurity, technical policy, and innovation.
• Maintain an in‑depth knowledge of the cybersecurity industry, competitive landscape, and related developments to keep Crowd Strike ahead of the market.
• Use stakeholder feedback to inform necessary improvements and adjustments to technology.
• Focus on technology improvements that benefit the region.
• Discover new technologies that yield competitive advantage through the core platform or technology partnerships.
• Provide recommendations for continuous improvement.
• Support customers and prospects as part of the Executive Briefing Program, virtually or onsite in Sunnyvale.

• Experience developing security strategies for companies and/or governments and overseeing their successful implementation.
• Ability to execute corporate security strategy and differentiate Crowd Strike’s products and services.
• Broad information security competency across strategy, governance, technology, and policy.
• Deep and broad knowledge of security issues and trends (GRC space) and ability to articulate a high‑level strategy to technical and non‑technical audiences.
• Ability to develop and maintain relationships with senior leaders, including C‑level executives, within customers and Crowd Strike.
• History of speaking at industry conferences, publishing blogs, podcasts, white papers, books, and making media interviews.
• Experience in roles such as Regional CTO, Enterprise Technology Strategist, Strategic Consultant, or Enterprise Security Architect.
• Hands‑on experience in detailed research and analysis.
• Experience across various security disciplines, including nation‑state, e‑crime, and hacktivist tradecraft across multiple industries.
• Experience with endpoint security, cloud security, SIEM/Log Management, mobile security, identity security, incident response, and other cybersecurity domains.
• Regional travel with some international travel expected.

Base salary range for this position in Canada: $150,000 – $265,000 CAD per year + variable/incentive compensation + equity + benefits. Canadian‑based employment is required. Applicants will be subject to background checks.
