Sr. Devops Specialist

Overview

Duration: 4 months. Extension possible based on business needs and performance. Conversion possible: unlikely based on business needs and performance. Business Unit: 4 - Cnd Online & Mobile Tech (S_1011651).

Work Location:

2 days on site, 3 days work from home, possibly change to 4 days on site in Toronto, Ontario. Team Size/Culture: 10 people.

Dev Ops team supporting Azure release deployments and CI/CD support.

• Design and operate resilient, high‑availability systems (active/active, blue/green).
• Optimize pipelines with Jenkins/Git Hub Actions and Git.
• Implement and use observability tools such as Dynatrace or Datadog.
• Automate Angular and Java workflows and accelerate AI development within CI/CD pipelines.

• 8+ years of experience within a Developer, Site Reliability Engineer or Dev Ops specialist role
• 5+ years of Dev Ops experience
• Deep knowledge of Git Hub Actions or Jenkins or equivalent
• Deep knowledge of cloud engineering/development within Azure Cloud
• Knowledge of deployment patterns
  - Blue/Green or Active/Active

• Prior banking or fintech experience
• Knowledge of Azure App Service
• Experience writing CI/CD workflows
• Scripting experience
  - Python or Bash
• Knowledge of AI driven development
